Marin Funayama

Description
Marin Funayama is a Japanese voice actress, or seiyuu, born on July 28, 1994. Her career is notably marked by her involvement in the anime series Sasami: Magical Girls Club. In both the first season, which aired in 2006, and the second season, which followed the same year, she provided the voice for the character Anri Misugi. Anri Misugi is one of the central characters in the series, a fifth grader who possesses the power of "kotodama," or word magic, allowing her to bring written words to life. Funayama was part of a cast of child actors who voiced the main magical girls in the series, a deliberate choice by the production to differentiate this iteration from previous entries in the franchise. Along with her four co-stars, she performed under the group name Magical Sweets to sing the opening and ending theme songs for both seasons of the anime. Information regarding other voice roles, significant industry collaborations, or further career achievements for Marin Funayama is not available in the accessible records.
