Haley Joel Osment

Description
Haley Joel Osment provided the English voice for the character Takeshi Jinno in the anime series Immortal Grand Prix. His involvement was part of a notable collaboration between the Japanese animation studio Production I.G and the American cable network Cartoon Network to produce the series for its Toonami block. This project was highlighted as a significant instance of an American network working directly with a Japanese studio to create an original anime series, with Osment cast in the leading role of the young, gifted mech pilot for Team Satomi.

Beyond this specific role, Osment's career is distinguished by extensive work in voice-over for various animated projects and video games. He is perhaps most widely recognized for his long-standing role as the voice of the protagonist Sora in the popular Kingdom Hearts video game franchise, a character he has voiced since the series began in 2002, as well as the villain Vanitas. His other voice credits from the early 2000s include roles in Disney's direct-to-video animated films such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame II and The Jungle Book 2.

In more recent years, Osment has continued to build a substantial body of voice acting work in animation. These roles include Kash D. Langford in the Netflix series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, Leonard "Buzzsaw" Burne in DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms, Casey Jones in the animated film Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, and the Collector in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red. His role in Immortal Grand Prix represents an early foray into Japanese anime dubbing within a career that has consistently featured prominent voice performances in animation and video games.
