Aya Hirayama is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on January 13, 1984, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Horipro. Hirayama began her entertainment career in 1999, making her acting debut in the Nippon Television drama Tengoku no Kiss at the age of 15. She subsequently established herself as a regular presence in Japanese television dramas and films. Her early film work includes a role in the 2001 hit movie Waterboys. Her filmography includes a limited number of voice acting performances in anime. One of her notable voice roles is Midori in the 2005 animated film Black Jack: The Two Doctors Of Darkness. This film is part of the franchise based on the manga by Osamu Tezuka. Another significant anime voice role is Meena in the 2003 film Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo The Movie 2. In addition to providing the voice for Meena, she also performed the insert song for the film. Her other anime voice credits include the role of Yuka Sunada in the 2004 television anime series Dan Doh!!. In 2006, she voiced the character Princess Tsukimi in the anime film Catnapped! (Atagooy wa Neko no Mori). Beyond anime, Hirayama's body of work is predominantly composed of live-action television dramas and films. She has held regular roles in numerous television series, such as Gokusen 3, Hataraki Man, and the lead role in Haruka 17. Her film appearances include Fighter in the Wind and Tokyo Tower.
