Lloyd Navera was born on December 30, 1975. He is a Filipino voice actor, television executive producer, and documentary director known for his extensive work in Tagalog dubs of anime series, primarily for broadcast on Philippine television networks such as GMA Network and TV5.
Navera's voice acting career encompasses a wide range of prominent roles. He is perhaps best known for voicing the protagonist Tamahome, as well as the characters Tasuki and Taka Sukunami, across the television series, OVAs, and specials of Fushigi Yugi. He also took on the lead role of Recca Hanabishi in Flame of Recca. In the long-running franchise Hunter X Hunter, Navera voiced numerous characters across different adaptations, including the 1999 series, its OVAs, and the 2011 series. His roles in this universe include the recurring antagonist Kuroro Lucifer (also known as Chrollo Lucilfer), the ninja Hanzo, the mentor Wing, and later, Ging Freecss and Pariston Hill.
His other notable anime credits include the title role of Namru in Hatsumei Boy Kanipan, Shunichi Domoto in Chosoku Spinner (also known as Super Yo-Yo), the protagonist Akira Yuki in Virtua Fighter, and Vitalis in Sans Famille. He also voiced multiple characters in the OVA series Shamanic Princess, taking on the roles of both Japolo and Kagetsu. In the sports anime Hajime no Ippo, he voiced several characters across multiple series, including boxer Alexander Volg Zangief and trainer Minoru Fujii.
