Benedetta Ponticelli is an Italian voice actress, born in Siena, Tuscany, on December 22, 1979, who is known for her extensive work in dubbing anime, animation, and live-action content for the Italian market. She grew up in Livorno where she began her acting career before relocating to Milan to attend a dubbing course, which launched her work at the microphone in both Milan and Rome. In addition to her voice work, she studied modern literature at the University of Pisa and trained at the Il Grattacielo Artistic Center. Ponticelli has collaborated with several major dubbing studios in Italy, including Merak Film, Studio P.V., and Studio Asci.

Ponticelli has lent her voice to a wide array of prominent characters in anime. One of her most notable roles is Alphonse Elric in the Italian dubs of Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. She also voiced Yuki Cross in Vampire Knight and its sequel Vampire Knight Guilty, Tenma Tsukomato in School Rumble, and Inori Yamabuki, also known as Cure Pine, in Fresh Pretty Cure. Her repertoire includes the role of Misty in the second Italian dub of the Pokémon series, as well as various other characters in the franchise such as Bel, Gardenia, and a temporary voice for Nurse Joy. She also voiced the character Flip (Tokunosuke) in the Italian dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, taking over the role from another actress for a portion of the series. The role of Natasha in the series Dragon Knight: Wheel of Time is also among her credits.

Beyond anime, her voice is widely recognized in other areas of animation and live-action dubbing. She is the Italian voice for Carly Shay in the sitcom iCarly and has voiced both Applejack and Fluttershy in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. She is also the new Italian voice for the character Lara Croft in the rebooted Tomb Raider video game series and voiced the character Shank in Ralph Breaks the Internet. Her recent live-action dubbing work includes voicing Lily Gladstone's performance in Killers of the Flower Moon, Tatiana Maslany in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Emilia Clarke in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Ponticelli's talent has been recognized with industry awards. In 2015, she won the I Targa Bruno Paolo Astori for best emerging voice actress at the Voci nell'ombra festival. More recently, in 2024, she received the Gran Premio Internazionale del Doppiaggio for best female voice, an award presented to her in Rome for her dubbing of Lily Gladstone in Killers of the Flower Moon.
