Junko Sakuma was a Japanese voice actress born on January 19, 1967, in Chiba Prefecture. She was active in the industry from the 1980s until her death on March 4, 2011. She was affiliated with the talent agency Production Baobab at the time of her passing and was married to fellow voice actor Yasunori Matsumoto.

Sakuma's career encompassed a wide range of roles in anime, video games, and Japanese dubs of foreign films. Her filmography includes numerous supporting and minor characters, demonstrating her versatility. Among her notable anime roles were Ai Misora, also known as Venus Purple, in the original video animation series Venus 5, and Maya in the OVA The Erotic Temptress. She also provided voices for other OVA series such as Compiler, where she played Girl C, and Fight!! Spirit of the Sword, as Female Student B.

In addition to her work in original Japanese animation, Sakuma contributed to the Japanese-language adaptations of foreign media. She was the voice of Phoebe Terese in the Japanese dub of the educational children's series The Magic School Bus. Her video game credits include the role of Mio Mibuya in Gunparade March and Ako Hikawa in Galaxy Fraulein Yuna II: Eternal Princess.
