Michiyo Nakajima is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and former pop singer born on January 2, 1973, in Saitama Prefecture. She began her entertainment career on January 30, 1991, as a singer, and her discography includes multiple singles and albums released throughout the 1990s. Her work as a singer intersected with anime, as she performed theme songs for series such as Ranma ½ and Floral Magician Mary Bell.

As a voice actress, Nakajima is recognized for several key roles. She provided the voice for the main character Isami Hanaoka in the 1995 NHK anime series Soar High! Isami. This role was particularly notable as it marked her debut as a voice actress, where she was cast in a lead role for a nationally broadcast original series at a time when it was becoming more common to cast celebrities from outside the core voice acting profession. She also voiced the character Diana in the 1999 anime series Taiga Adventure, a sequel to Future Boy Conan, appearing in all 24 episodes.
