Hinako Kanamaru is a retired Japanese voice actress born on August 17, 1966, in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career after graduating from the 6th term of Aoni Juku in Tokyo and made her debut in 1987, with her first regular role being Cross Angel in the television anime series Bikkuriman. Her early career included being part of the voice acting unit QP'S in 1986, which released a single. In 2003, she changed her stage name from her birth name, Hinako Kanamaru, to Hinako Yoshino. She was active in the industry until approximately 2008, when she retired.
Throughout her career, she contributed voices to a wide range of anime, original video animations, and video games. Among her earliest roles was Pîpô in the 1989 television anime series Transformers: Victory. In 1990, she voiced the character Red in the animated film Pink Mizu Dorobō Ame Dorobō. A notable role from the early 1990s was Mie Tama in the Magical Taruruuto-kun film series, including Magical Taruruuto-kun: Moero! Yuujou no Mahou Taisen in 1991. Her debut role as Cross Angel continued in various Bikkuriman productions, including the 1988 film Bikkuriman: Taiichiji Seima Taisen and the television series from 1987 to 1989.
The mid-1990s saw her in a series of interconnected OVA roles. She voiced Mami Shimura in the 1995 OVA Sailor Victory, a role she reprised as both the character and her android counterpart. She also voiced the same character, Mami, in the 1995 OVA Graduation and the 1996 OVA Marriage.
