Tomotake Masanori was a Japanese vocalist and voice actor, born on October 9, 1931, in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. He passed away on March 23, 1993. Primarily a baritone singer and poet, his work in anime included both voice acting and music performance. In the anime special Machi Ichiban no Kechinbo, he provided the voice for the character Spirit. His other contributions to the medium were predominantly musical; he performed theme songs for the television series Kaizoku Ōji and the special Daddy Long-Legs, as well as an insert song for the movie Chibikko Remi to Meiken Kapi.
