Daniel Dicenta was a Spanish actor who contributed his voice to the Spanish-language dubbing of various anime series and films, particularly during the later stage of his extensive career in theatre, film, and television. Born Daniel Dicenta Silva in Valencia on November 6, 1937, he came from a notable family of actors and playwrights. While he was a prominent figure on Spanish stages and in live-action cinema, his work in anime dubbing forms a part of his legacy as a voice actor.

His career in dubbing encompassed a range of characters in animated productions for a Spanish-speaking audience. Among his credited roles in anime are Okkana in the series Jump Out! Machine Hiryu, John Pendleton in the older Spanish dub of Pollyanna, and Climb in the film Techno Police 21C. He also provided the voice for Dr. Garigari in the feature Nagagutsu o Haita Neko 80 Nichikan Sekai Isshū, also known as Puss n' Boots Around the World. His work extended to other well-known titles, including a role as a coach in an episode of Captain Tsubasa, as Planchet in the beloved series Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds, and as Naco in the Spanish dub of the acclaimed film Princess Mononoke. He also contributed to dubs of series such as City Hunter, Dash Kappei, and Pokémon.
