Deem Bristow was an American actor known for his work in voice-over for video games and animated series, with a career that spanned from 1986 until his death in 2005. He was born Deem Reginald Bristow on April 11, 1947. In addition to his performance work, he was also known by the professional alias Reg Green. Bristow passed away on January 15, 2005, in San Diego, California, at the age of fifty-seven. Bristow provided English voice-over work for numerous characters in anime series and original video animations. In the science fiction series Spirit of Wonder, he voiced the character Breckenridge. His other notable anime roles included Masami Hirukawa in Paranoia Agent, a Flower Shop Owner and Manager Hosoda in Rumic Theater: Mermaid Forest, an Old Man and Chief Researcher in R.O.D the TV, and The Sage of Gabe in Texhnolyze. While Bristow had a significant body of work in anime, he was perhaps most widely recognized for his portrayal of the iconic villain Doctor Eggman in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. He voiced the character from Sonic Adventure until Sonic Riders in 2004. His other video game credits include roles in Diablo II as Meshif and Blue Stinger as Dogs Bower.
