Ruth Schelske was a Brazilian actress and voice actress known for her extensive work in radio, television, and dubbing during the mid-20th century. She was born in São Paulo on March 27, 1937. Schelske began her career in radio at a young age, working for stations such as Rádio Nacional and Rádio Bandeirantes before transitioning to television in the 1950s with TV Paulista. Her on-screen work included appearances in live-television plays, variety shows, and humoristic programs.

In a natural career progression for many performers of her era, Schelske moved into dubbing, working at prominent Rio de Janeiro studios including CineCastro, Dublasom Guanabara, TV Cinesom, and Herbert Richers.
