Nelson Raposo is a Portuguese voice actor, actor, and musician, born on February 12, 1988, in Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal. He began working as a professional voice actor in 2015 and has since lent his voice to a multitude of characters in over 200 programs, a number that continues to grow. His work in the field also extends beyond performance, as he is responsible for the translation, adaptation, and direction of numerous animated shows and movies.

Raposo is known for his extensive voice work in the Portuguese dubbing of the 2018 remake of the anime series Captain Tsubasa. In this series, he provided the voices for several key characters, including the prominent roles of the powerful striker Kojiro Hyuuga and Hikaru Matsuyama, the captain of the Furano team, for the first 28 episodes. His other roles in the series further demonstrate his versatility, encompassing characters such as Taichi Nakanishi, Teppei Kisugi, Kouji Nakano, Munemasa Katagiri, and Shun Nitta.

Beyond Captain Tsubasa, his work in anime includes the role of Cheval in the Portuguese version of Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON. He also voiced Adriano Donati, Basile Hardy, and other characters in Inazuma Eleven Ares, and Drago and Hydorous in Bakugan: Armored Alliance. His contributions to animated series are not limited to Japanese anime; he has also been involved in dubbing for various international productions, such as playing Stripes, Zeg, and Joe in Blaze and the Monster Machines, Tristepin and Adamai in Wakfu, and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Raposo's work also includes projects within the Star Wars universe. He voiced characters in the Portuguese dubs of Star Wars Rebels, including Imperial Controller LT-319 in season three and The Son in season four, as well as Pace in Lego Star Wars All-Stars. He has also contributed to Marvel animated series, voicing Jimmy Darnell in The Avengers: United They Stand.

In addition to his voice acting career, Nelson Raposo is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, capable of playing piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. He is a member of the band NightDream, a tribute to the Finnish band Nightwish, and also performs with Megacrusher, a tribute to Megadeth.
