Martin Watier is a Canadian actor born in Montreal on October 25, 1973, who is primarily known for his extensive work in dubbing. His early life included studying music from the age of five, and he developed a passion for acting during high school, beginning drama studies in 1985. He later studied acting and musical theatre at Upper Canada College in Toronto on a scholarship and was awarded the Robertson Davies Drama Award in 1992 for his stage performance in a production of Amadeus.

Watier began his professional career in 1993, working in theatre, musicals, and television in both English and French productions before discovering voice work in 1995. Since then, dubbing, narration, and animation have become a central part of his career. He is well established as the official French-language voice for numerous American actors, including Colin Farrell, Jude Law, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kevin Hart, and Mark Wahlberg for the Canadian French market.

In the realm of animation and anime, Watier is recognized for his voice work in the Québec French dubs of several major films. As noted, he provided the voice for the character Brock in multiple Pokémon films, including Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker, Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios, and Pokémon 4Ever. His other Pokémon film credits for the character Brock include Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns and Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys. Beyond Pokémon, his animation roles are extensive and include voicing prominent characters such as Stitch in the Lilo & Stitch franchise, Kovu in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse for Québec French dubs.
