Alexander Hauff is a German actor and voice actor. He was born on December 9, 1957, in Berlin. He studied acting at the Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schule in Berlin from 1978 to 1982. His early career included stage work at the Vaganten Bühne in Berlin and as a permanent ensemble member of the Theatermanufaktur Berlin. He gained initial television recognition for his role as Frizz in the series Die Vier aus der Zwischenzeit, a segment within the youth program 45 Fieber, which aired between 1984 and 1989. He had a role in Wim Wenders' 1993 film In weiter Ferne, so nah. His voice acting portfolio includes over 277 voice roles. His voice work spans dubbing for live-action films and series, as well as character voices in animation. Examples include voicing the character Hemp Man in the series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. In the German version of the LEGO Ninjago franchise, for Ninjago: Entschlüsselt, he provided the German voice for the character Fenwick, as well as for a younger version of Master Wu and a parrot character. He also dubbed the character Esteban in the 2024 animated film Thelma, das Einhorn. He has provided German dubbing voices for actors in films and television series such as Don't Look Up, Die Hand Gottes, and Die letzte Fahrt der Demeter. He is also a professional in the field of audio drama, with numerous credits for German radio broadcasters.
