Jorge Sequerra was a Portuguese actor and dubbing artist, recognized for his extensive voice work in animated series and films for Portuguese audiences. Born in 1958, he built a career that spanned both on-screen performances in television and cinema, and a significant body of work in the dubbing industry. He passed away on March 1, 2016.

Sequerra's voice acting career included a wide range of characters in various animated productions. Among his notable roles is Serafim, the talking cat and titular character, in the Portuguese dub of the 1992 anime series "O Gato das Botas" (The Adventures of Puss-in-Boots). Another prominent role was that of the villain Imperador Gross in the anime series "Raio Azul" (Blue Blink), a 1989 production by Osamu Tezuka. His repertoire also included providing the Portuguese voice for Rafael in the classic "As Tartarugas Ninja" (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and for Norman in "Mighty Max".

Throughout his career, Sequerra contributed to numerous projects across different dubbing studios, including Nacional Filmes, Videoplano, and ATEDOB. He was known for his vocal versatility, taking on a variety of roles that showcased his range. A tribute noted his voice as being particularly deep, a distinctive quality in Portuguese dubbing, yet one that could convey both authority and warmth, as heard in his performance as Mr. Solo in the film "Uma Vida de Insecto" (A Bug's Life). His work also included voicing the character Pinguinhas in the children's program "Jardim da Celeste" and multiple characters in the series "Recreio" (Recess) and "Ren & Stimpy". In the 2000s, he became a recurring voice in the Portuguese dubs of the "Power Rangers" franchise, voicing villains and mentors such as Mesogog in "Power Rangers: Dino Thunder," Doggie Kruger in "Power Rangers: SPD," and Daggeron in "Power Rangers: Força Mística" (Power Rangers: Mystic Force).
