Alma Nuri is a Mexican actress and director of dubbing, recognized for her extensive career in voice acting for animated series and films, particularly during the 1970s and 1980s. She began her work in dubbing during the 1960s at the Mexican company CINSA. In the later years of her career, she worked at Sonomex, a dubbing company founded by her late husband, actor and dubbing director Julio Macías.
Nuri's filmography includes a wide range of roles in anime dubbed into Spanish. She is known for her work in the 1977-1978 series Nobody's Boy Remi, where she not only voiced the character Mattia but also served as the director for the Mexican dubbing. Her involvement extended to other voices in the series, including Arthur Milligan, Cecill, and Mrs. Barberin. In the film Taro the Dragon Boy, she voiced the role of Mamá de Taro (Taro's mother).
