Thor Bishopric is a Canadian actor, voice actor, and writer with a career spanning several decades. He was born in Montreal, Canada, in the mid-1960s and has been a prominent member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA). He is the brother of the late actress and voice actress Kirsten Bishopric.

Bishopric has contributed extensively to the field of animation dubbing, providing English voices for numerous anime and animated series. Among his notable roles in this area is Joe in the English adaptation of the 1976 anime series Huckleberry no Bōken, based on the novel by Mark Twain. He also voiced the character of Prince Justin in the 1991 fantasy adventure series Adventures of the Little Mermaid, a Japanese-French production that was adapted for an international audience. Another significant early role was providing the voice for the title character in the English version of the 1972 anime series Kashi no Ki Mokku, a dark adaptation of the Pinocchio story.

Beyond the roles mentioned, his extensive voice work in anime and animated productions includes Ovide and the Gang, The Little Flying Bears, Simba the King Lion, Spirou, and Journey to the West – Legends of the Monkey King. His work often involved collaborations with a circle of voice actors based in Montreal, including Sonja Ball, Aron Tager, and Arthur Holden, who were frequently featured in the English dubs produced by companies like Cinar.

In addition to his on-screen and voice work, Bishopric has also worked as a writer and voice director on various projects, including the children's series Caillou. He served as the National President of ACTRA from 1999 to 2005, demonstrating significant leadership within the Canadian performing arts community.
