Holly Gauthier-Frankel is a Canadian voice actress and voice director with a career spanning several decades, beginning in her childhood. Born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1979, she started working professionally at the age of seven as a studio singer for commercials before transitioning into voice-over work and English-language dubbing. Her early start in the vibrant Montreal dubbing industry provided her with on-the-job training and led to her joining the Union des Artistes. She later attended CEGEP and studied at McGill University.
Gauthier-Frankel is widely recognized for her extensive work in children's animation, holding long-running roles such as the voice of Fern Walters in the acclaimed series Arthur from 1996 to 2022 and its spin-off Postcards from Buster, as well as voicing the title character in Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat. Other significant animation credits include Loulou in Wimzie's House, Julie in Caillou, Belinda in Mona the Vampire, Teri in What's with Andy?, and Polly McShane in The Kids from Room 402. She also provided the voice of Rita the Fox in the English dubs of the Danish Jungledyret Hugo films and Flora in the Cinélume English dub of Winx Club.
