Françoise Blanchard was a French actress whose career spanned from the late 1970s to 2013, and she was also active as a voice artist for French-language dubs of films and animated series. In animation, she is known for providing the French voice for Matsuko Yamada, the mother in the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbors the Yamadas.

Born on June 6, 1954, Blanchard's on-screen career included roles in numerous films, often within the horror and B-movie genres, working with directors such as Jean Rollin and Jesús Franco. Alongside this work, she built a substantial body of work in dubbing. Her voice can be heard in French versions of live-action films like Popeye (as Olive Oyl), The NeverEnding Story III, and Hackers. In television, her dubbing credits included episodes of animated series such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Babar, and Totally Spies!. Françoise Blanchard passed away on May 24, 2013.
