Massimo Antonio Rossi is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Bologna in 1959. His career in the performing arts began on the stage, where he trained at the Bottega Teatrale di Firenze under the direction of Vittorio Gassman and made his professional debut in Gassman's company with a production of Shakespeare's Otello. This solid grounding in theatre preceded his entry into the world of dubbing in Milan during the early 1980s, where he was mentored by Carlo Cataneo, a founder of the A.D.C. dubbing cooperative.
Rossi is widely recognized for his contributions to the Italian-language versions of numerous anime series. He voiced the character Daisaburou Higashiyama in the series Il prode Raideen, known in English as Reideen the Brave. Among his most notable roles is the voice of Pegasus, also known as Helios, in the Sailor Moon SuperS anime. His other significant anime credits include Tenko in Fushigi Yugi 2, the father of Alan in Lisa e Seya, un solo cuore per lo stesso segreto (Saint Tail), and Akubon in Casshern Sins. He has also served as the Italian narrator for the series Cells at Work! Code Black.
