Barbara Sirotti

Barbara Sirotti is an Italian actress and voice artist. She was born on 21 May 1971 in Rimini, Italy. Her career includes work in film, television, theater, and dubbing, as well as writing and directing. In Italian-language dubs of anime, she voiced Moriko, also known as Noriko Ibuki, in the 1997 anime Tokio Private Police. She voiced Fire Precision in the 1995 OVA Princess Minerva and Mai Waku in the OVA series My My Mai. In 2014, she received a commendation at the TASTE AWARDS in Hollywood for her voice work in Italian and English for the animated short film La cuoca Girovaga. She wrote, directed, and starred in the short films Aria (2021) and Libera (2022). These autobiographical films explore her experience as a survivor of domestic violence and have received awards at international film festivals, including the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival and the Panorama Praga Film Festival. For these films, she collaborated with voice actors Luca Ward and Francesco Pannofino.
