Satoko Yamano is a Japanese singer and voice actor born on August 2, 1963, in Higashiosaka, Osaka, Japan. She began her career in the entertainment industry in 1980. Her educational background includes studies at Osaka Jogakuin Junior College. She is affiliated with the record label Nippon Columbia.
Yamano is known for her work as both a performer of anime theme songs and a voice actor in anime series. In the realm of voice acting, she has taken on a variety of roles since the mid-1980s. Among her notable anime television roles are Puriprin in Maple Town Stories and its follow-up, New Maple Town Stories, in which she also voiced the character Sheila. In the 1988 feature film Saint Seiya: The Heated Battle of the Gods, she provided the voice for the character Freyja. She also voiced Gina in Topo Gigio and Yume Miru Topo Gigio, and Kozue Makihara in two episodes of City Hunter 2. In the early 1990s, she played the role of Orie in the television series Pygmalio.
