Kurt Klopsch was a German actor and voice actor, born on December 24, 1905, in Berlin, and died on December 16, 1989, in Hamburg. His career began in the late Weimar Republic on stages such as the Trier City Theater before he returned to Berlin. Following World War II, he settled in Hamburg, where he appeared in theater, cabaret, and radio productions. On screen, he was a familiar face in numerous film and television roles, often playing supporting characters such as minor officials or ordinary citizens. He was known to German television audiences for his roles in series like Stahlnetz, Percy Stuart, and Kasse bitte!.

Klopsch was also extensively active as a voice actor, lending his voice to foreign actors for the German-dubbed versions of films. His known voice work includes dubbing Geoffrey Keen in the 1960 film Zorniges Schweigen, Thomas Heathcote in the 1955 film Doktor ahoi!, and Arthur Hambling in the 1951 film Frau im Netz.

In the realm of anime, he provided the German voice for the character Lord Ito in the 1980 Japanese animated film Phoenix 2772: Space Firebird. In this RTL-dubbed version, produced in Hamburg in 1982, he voiced the role of Sir Eato, originally performed by Yasuo Hisamatsu. His other work in animation and audio dramas includes numerous roles in German radio play productions, particularly for the labels Maritim, PLP, and Europa, where he appeared in adaptations of stories like Robinson Crusoe, Karl May's Winnetou, and Aladdin throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
