He is recognized for his role in the Spanish dubbing of the Japanese anime series The Story of Pollyanna, Girl of Love. In the 1992 Telecinco broadcast of this series, Ordóñez provided the voice for two characters: John Whittier, the father of the protagonist Pollyanna, and Dr. Thomas Chilton, a physician and family friend. In a flashback episode, he also voiced the younger versions of both characters.

Another notable credit is his participation in the Spanish-language version of the Japanese series Kyoryu Daisenso Aizenborg. In the 1983 American compilation film Attack of the Super Monsters, which was based on the Japanese series, Ordóñez voiced the character Jerry Fordham, one of the members of the team battling the Dinosaur Empire.
