Thierry Wermuth is a French actor and artistic director, primarily recognized for his extensive work in dubbing for French-language versions of films and television series. Born on November 20, 1959, his voice is familiar to French audiences through numerous animated and live-action roles. While his work spans various genres, he is a prominent figure in the world of animation dubbing.

Wermuth's career in animation includes several notable leading roles. In the early 1990s, he provided the French voice for the iconic character Tintin in the animated series The Adventures of Tintin. He is also the long-standing French voice of Stan Marsh and his father Randy Marsh in the long-running series South Park, a role he has held since the show's French debut in 1998. Towards the end of the 1990s, he voiced Principal Peter Prickly in the series Recess. More recently, he has lent his voice to the character Elfo in the animated series Disenchantment. The role of Rodrigue in the anime series Hiatari Ryoko, known in French as Une Vie Nouvelle, is another example of his work in dubbing Japanese animation for a French audience.

In addition to his work on television series, Wermuth has voiced characters in numerous animated films. His filmography includes Pips in FernGully: The Last Rainforest, Tilt in A Bug's Life, the character Sifli in Toy Story 2, and one of the penguins, Soldat, in the Madagascar film series. He has also voiced characters in films such as The Pebble and the Penguin, Doug's 1st Movie, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins, Hoodwinked!, Cars, and Coco.

Beyond his on-screen voice work, Wermuth is also active as a director of dubbing, overseeing the French adaptations for various films. His credits as a director include films such as Team America: World Police, The Fog, Australia, State of Play, Chronicle, and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. He is also the regular French dubbing voice for actors Jerry O'Connell and James Van Der Beek, among many others.
