Jordi Brau Riera is a Spanish voice actor born in Barcelona on April 18, 1958. He is a graduate in Dramatic Art with a specialization in Interpretation from the prestigious Instituto del Teatro in Barcelona. His career in dubbing began in 1983 when he had to dub himself for the film El vicario de Olot.

In the realm of anime and animation, Brau is recognized for his work in Spanish dubs. He notably voiced the character Libra Dohko in his young form for the OVA series Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Sanctuary, which forms part of the broader Saint Seiya franchise. His other animation credits include Dr. Tenma in the Spanish and Catalan dubs of the film Astro Boy, Captain Gray Edwards in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and the Beast in the classic Disney film Beauty and the Beast. He also provided the voice for John Smith in Pocahontas.

Brau's career is, however, far more extensive in the dubbing of live-action film and television. He is renowned for being the habitual Spanish voice for a multitude of acclaimed actors. This list includes Tom Hanks, Nicolas Cage, Robin Williams, Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, Kenneth Branagh, Dennis Quaid, and Daniel Day-Lewis. His dubbing work for these actors spans hundreds of films, with notable examples including Forrest Gump for Tom Hanks, Good Morning, Vietnam for Robin Williams, and Entrevista con el vampiro for Tom Cruise. His versatility extends to voicing characters in television series such as CSI, Friends, and Star Trek.

Over his long career, Jordi Brau has dubbed more than 1,500 films and television commercials. His work has been recognized with an award from the Asociación Profesional Española de Informadores de Prensa, Radio y Televisión. In 2013, he co-founded the dubbing studio Polford in Barcelona with fellow voice actors Luis Posada and Óscar Barberán, where he also directs dubbing sessions and teaches. He remains active in the industry, participating in cultural events such as the Festival de las Ánimas in Soria.
