Luzi's voice became a familiar presence in many beloved animated series imported into Italy during the 1970s and 1980s. Among his most prominent roles in this field is his contribution to the anime series New Jungle Emperor, Go Ahead Leo! (known in Italian as Kimba, il leone bianco). His work in the anime world also included providing voices for other series such as Future Boy Conan, Koguma no Misha (released in Italy as L'orsetto Mysha), and Magnos The Robot. For L'orsetto Mysha, he voiced multiple characters including Dott. Caprani, the Sindaco, and Signora Morgan.

Beyond the specific genre of anime, Luzi's voice acting career encompassed a wide array of cartoons. He was the Italian voice of Uncle Fester, originally played by Jackie Coogan, in the live-action TV series La famiglia Addams. His other notable cartoon roles included characters in series such as Top Cat, Napo Orso Capo, and Pandamonium. This body of work established him as one of the familiar voices of Italian dubbing during the golden age of imported animation.
