Eric Baugin is a French actor primarily known for his extensive work in dubbing, where he has lent his voice to numerous characters in film and television. He was born in France in 1961. His career in voice acting includes significant roles in animation as well as being the regular French dubbing voice for several prominent American actors.

One of Baugin's earliest and most notable roles in animation was providing the voice for the young protagonist, Terr, in the acclaimed 1973 French animated science fiction film Fantastic Planet (La Planète sauvage). He continued to work in the anime and animation dubbing field throughout the 1980s. A key example from this period is his role in the magical girl series Magical Star Magical Emi (Emi Magique), where he voiced the character Albert. For the same series, he also served as a replacement voice for the character Alphonse. His other animation dubbing credits from this era include the role of Mark de Willington in the anime Sandy Jonquille.

Beyond animation, Baugin built a prolific career dubbing live-action films and television series. He became particularly well-known as the regular French voice for actor Sean Penn. His dubbing filmography also includes providing French voices for a wide range of actors such as Kevin Bacon, Josh Brolin, C. Thomas Howell, and Crispin Glover in various films from the 1980s and 1990s. His work extended to television series as well, with credits including roles in dubbed versions of popular shows like Happy Days.

Eric Baugin comes from a family with a strong presence in French dubbing. He is one of four brothers, all of whom have worked in the field: his brothers include Ludovic Baugin, Loïc Baugin, and Franck Baugin. In addition to his voice work, Baugin has also appeared as an on-screen actor in French film and television productions, with credits including the 1982 film A Captain's Honor (L'Honneur d'un capitaine).
