Description
Jhonny Torres Coronel is a Venezuelan voice actor born on August 13, 1981, who began his career in dubbing in 1994. He started with smaller roles in 1996 and built a reputation in the Venezuelan dubbing industry before relocating to Mexico in 2015 to continue his work.

He is particularly well-known for his extensive work in anime and animated series. Among his most recognized roles is Alphonse Elric in both Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, a character he found deeply impactful due to the series' profound and sometimes dark themes. He also provided the voice for Tyson in the Beyblade franchise. In Mexican dubs, he is known for voicing Genos in One Punch Man.

Torres has a significant presence in the Transformers animated universe. In Transformers: Armada, he voiced both Sideways and Unicron. He continued with the franchise as Inferno in Transformers: Energon, and later as both Sideways and Ransack in Transformers: Cybertron. His other notable anime credits include Yusuke in I'm Gonna Be An Angel!, Hige in Wolf's Rain, Claus Valca in Last Exile, Sven Vollfied in Black Cat, and Ion Fortuna in Trinity Blood. His work also extends to a wide variety of other roles, such as the various English-language characters he dubbed in animated series like Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom, and X-Men: Evolution.

Outside of anime, Torres is widely recognized as the voice of Flash in several DC Comics animated series, including Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, a role that held personal significance for him as a childhood fan of the character. He also voiced Chris McLean in the Spanish-language versions of the Total Drama series and Chumlee in the first five seasons of Pawn Stars. His career demonstrates a versatility that spans deep dramatic roles, light-hearted comedies, and reality television, a transition he describes as part of an actor's ability to be a "camaleón" or chameleon, adapting to the essence of each character.
