Blanche Ravalec is a French actress and voice artist, born on September 19, 1954, in France. Before beginning her acting career, she worked as an air hostess and trained at the Cours Simon drama school in Paris. She is widely recognized by international audiences for her on-screen role as Dolly, the girlfriend of the character Jaws, in the 1979 James Bond film Moonraker. However, in France, she is primarily known for her extensive and prolific career in dubbing, providing the French voices for numerous characters in American television series and animated programs.

Ravalec's work in anime is significant and includes multiple roles in the popular Ojamajo Doremi series. In both Ojamajo Doremi and its sequel Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi, she lent her voice to several characters: Loulou, who is a main voice, as well as Mindy, the fairy Lili, and Dhélia. Beyond this series, her anime and animation voice credits are extensive. She is notably the first French voice of Turanga Leela in the series Futurama. Her other animation work includes roles such as the main character in Aeon Flux, the mother of Sissi in Princesse Sissi, Zelda Spellman in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, various characters in Ginger, and the witch Camomille in Les Trois Petites Soeurs. Her work also extends to narrating the French version of the children's series Thomas & Friends for many years.

In addition to her work in animation, Ravalec is a prominent figure in the dubbing of live-action television series. She is the regular French voice for actress Marcia Cross, most famously for the role of Bree Van de Kamp in Desperate Housewives, a part she voiced for the entire run of the series. She has also dubbed characters in popular shows such as Friends, Ugly Betty, and Once Upon a Time. Beyond performing, Ravalec is also active as a dubbing director, overseeing the French-language adaptations for various productions, including the anime series Magical Dorémi itself, as well as shows like Ginger, Hilda, and Lizzie McGuire. Her voice can also be heard in video games, with roles in major titles such as The Witcher, Skyrim, and Assassin's Creed Rogue.
