Massimo Rinaldi is an Italian voice actor and dubbing professional, born in Rome on September 23, 1952. He comes from a family with deep roots in Italian entertainment; he is the son of the prominent voice actor Giuseppe Rinaldi and the actress Marina Dolfin. His sister is the voice actress Antonella Rinaldi, and his grandparents include the soprano Toti Dal Monte and the tenor Enzo De Muro Lomanto. Rinaldi is a graduate of La Sapienza University in Rome, where he earned a degree in modern literature with honors.

Rinaldi's career is extensive, spanning animation, film, and television dubbing, as well as live-action acting. Within the realm of anime and animation, he is known for lending his voice to the character Wally Tusket in the Italian-language version of the series Ultimate Muscle. His other notable roles in Japanese anime include voicing Toma in the first edition of the Dragon Ball Z special Bardock - The Father of Goku, Derry in Hurricane Polymar, and Gao in Virtua Fighter. He also contributed to the Italian dubbing of classic series such as Mobile Suit Gundam and Tekkaman, the Space Knight. Beyond his on-screen roles, Rinaldi has also worked as a dubbing director, for instance on the anime series Hungry Heart - Wild Striker.

His voice work, however, is not limited to anime. Rinaldi is a prolific voice for Disney and other animated productions. He is the Italian voice for several beloved characters, including Fenton Paperconchiglia and his alter-ego Robopap in DuckTales, Gruffi Gummi in Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Monterey Jack in Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, and Poet Smurf in The Smurfs. His film animation credits include roles in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure as François, Oliver & Company as Desoto, and Appleseed as Edward Uranus III. He has also voiced characters in animated series like Overlord in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and X-Plode in Lego Hero Factory.

In the field of live-action dubbing, Rinaldi's repertoire is equally impressive. He is the regular Italian voice for actor Judge Reinhold, having dubbed him in the Beverly Hills Cop film series and other movies. Among the many renowned actors he has dubbed are Steve Guttenberg, John Turturro, Liam Neeson, Gérard Depardieu, and the musician Sting in the films Dune and Bring On The Night. He has also provided the Italian voice for Martin Weinek in the long-running series Commissioner Rex.

In addition to his extensive voice work, Massimo Rinaldi has appeared on screen as an actor. From 2002 to 2008, he had a role in the Italian television series Carabinieri, playing Captain Maurizio Ranieri. He has also appeared in several high-profile Italian TV miniseries about religious figures, including portraying a young Cardinal Montini (the future Pope Paul VI) in Papa Giovanni - Ioannes XXIII, Pope Luciani in Papa Luciani - Il sorriso di Dio, and the lawyer Giorgio Montini, father of Pope Paul VI, in Paolo VI - Il papa nella tempesta. Earlier in his career, he was also a cast member of the variety television program Avanzi in the early 1990s.
