Dameon Clarke is a Canadian actor known for his extensive work in anime voice acting, video games, and live-action television and film. Born in Mississauga, Ontario, he began his acting career at the age of eleven. He is closely associated with Funimation Productions, where he has lent his voice to numerous prominent characters in English dubs of popular anime series.
In anime, Clarke is perhaps best recognized for portraying iconic antagonists and powerful figures. His roles include the villainous Cell in the Dragon Ball series, including Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. He also voiced the formidable Younger Toguro in Yu Yu Hakusho and the vengeful Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist. Further demonstrating his range, he played Proxy One in Ergo Proxy and Victor Hilshire in Gunslinger Girl. Notably, he has voiced the character Kazuma Soma in both the 2001 adaptation of Fruits Basket and its 2019 reboot, Fruits Basket the Final, reprising the role nearly two decades later.
