Daniele Carnini is an Italian composer, musicologist, and former voice actor, born in Rome in 1974. While his primary and extensive career is in music, he worked as a voice actor during his youth. His most notable role from this period is providing the Italian voice for Wesley Crusher, the character played by Wil Wheaton, in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. His credits include the role of Rudy Musten, known in the original Japanese as Sho Oji, in the series Kickers. He is also confirmed to have played the character Hans in the series Mori no Tonto-tachi. This voice acting work represents an early phase of his career, which he pursued alongside his studies in composition and musicology at prestigious institutions in Rome, including the Conservatorio di Roma and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He would later become a renowned expert in 19th-century opera, particularly the works of Gioachino Rossini, and serve as the editorial director for the Fondazione Rossini di Pesaro.
