Hiroshi Ikaida

Hiroshi Ikaida was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born on January 8, 1931, in the Kitakanbara District of Niigata Prefecture, Japan. He also worked under the stage names Hiroshi Nikaido and Hiroshi Ikaida. Ikaida passed away on October 24, 1997.

Ikaida's career included significant work in tokusatsu and anime, particularly during the 1970s and 1980s. He is known for his voice role as Guren in the 1976 television series Kyōryū Tankentai Born Free. Another of his notable voice performances was as Dakumiran in the 1983 mini-series Andro Melos. He also provided the voice for General Kesunōchi in Kyōryū Sentai Koseidon in 1978. In the 1973 series Super Robot Red Baron, he voiced Tetsunosuke Sakai.

In addition to his voice work, Ikaida had roles in live-action productions. He is particularly known for his portrayal of Georugu Rarāshutain, the president, in the 1974 tokusatsu drama Super Robot Mach Baron. He also appeared in the 1972 film Daigoro vs. Goliath as a zookeeper and served as the narrator for the 1972 series Iron King. His live-action acting credits also include roles in films from the 1960s, such as Onna no Seidan in 1967.
