Dean Hagopian is a Canadian actor and voice actor with a career spanning several decades in film, television, and animation. Born on August 24, 1937, in Moncton, New Brunswick, he is of Armenian descent. Before becoming an actor, Hagopian was a musician, serving as the original lead singer for the 1960s band The Staccatos, which later evolved into The Five Man Electrical Band. He transitioned from music to a successful career in radio broadcasting, working at major stations like CKOY in Ottawa and CFOX in Montreal, before moving into acting in the late 1970s.
As a voice actor, Hagopian contributed to numerous animated series dubbed in English, particularly for the Canadian and international markets.
