Yoshiko Asai, also known by the stage name Yoshie Asai, is a Japanese voice actor born on March 21, 1941, in Tokyo, Japan. Her birth name is Yoshiko Ishimori. She began her career in the 1960s, establishing herself as a versatile performer across several decades of anime and animation history.

Asai's filmography includes a wide range of roles in numerous television series and films. In the 1985 television series Onegai! Samia Don, she provided the voice for the character Harry. She also voiced the character of Kokki's Mother, also known as Vera or Mama Koala, in the 1984 anime series Adventures of the Little Koala.

Her career includes a significant role in the 1989 Studio Ghibli film Kiki's Delivery Service, where she voiced the character of Ketto's grandmother, the baker who employs Kiki. Among her many other credits are roles in long-running and influential series such as Sally the Witch, Horus: Prince of the Sun, Attack No. 1, Galaxy Express 999, The Rose of Versailles, Maison Ikkoku, Patlabor: The New Files, Monster, and Kino's Journey. Her work also extended to Japanese dubs of foreign productions, such as voicing the Baroness in the Japanese version of G.I. Joe: The Movie.
