Carla Comaschi

Carla Comaschi is an Italian actress and voice artist, born in Bologna on April 3, 1937. She trained at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts Silvio D'Amico in Rome. Her early on-screen career included roles in several television miniseries during the 1960s, such as La donna dei fiori (1965), Scaramouche (1965), and The Karamazov Brothers (1969).

Beginning in the 1970s, Comaschi focused extensively on dubbing, providing Italian voices for numerous television series, soap operas, and animated programs. Her work in anime is well-documented. She voiced the character Nora in the Italian adaptation of the series Norakuro, which was titled Nero, cane di leva. Other significant anime roles include Katherine in Candy Candy, Doritea in Toriton, and Cupcake in Fonzie and the Happy Days Gang. She also contributed to the Italian dubs of popular series such as Doraemon, Holly and Benji (as Daisy), and The Drak Trio (as the narrator). Her career also encompassed dubbing roles in live-action productions, including characters in the series Dallas and the film The Poseidon Adventure.
