Jean-Pierre Denys is a French actor primarily known for his extensive work in voice dubbing, particularly for animated series and films. He is recognized for lending his voice to a wide variety of characters in Japanese anime dubbed into French, as well as in American productions.

His career in voice acting spans several decades, with notable activity from the late 1970s through the 2010s. One of his early and significant roles was providing the French voice for the character Cador in the anime series Hana no Ko Lunlun, which is known in French as Le Tour du monde de Lydie. He was also the voice of Professor Rao in the French dub of the classic anime Conan, le fils du futur (Future Boy Conan).

Denys took on numerous other prominent roles in anime throughout the 1980s and beyond. He voiced the title character in the animated series Moi Renart. He was also the French voice of Bob Minara, also known as Force Bleue, in the live-action tokusatsu series Bioman. His versatility is demonstrated by his performance of various antagonist roles in the anime Signé Cat's Eyes. Additional anime credits include providing voices for episodes of Batman, Superman, and Jackie Chan.

In addition to his anime work, Jean-Pierre Denys is well-known to French audiences as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the Pixar animated films Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, and Toy Story 4.

Denys has also been involved in industry events, appearing as a guest at conventions such as Japan Expo in Paris, where he participated in panels and met with fans.
