Hikaru Nanjō is a Japanese voice actress from Chiba Prefecture, born on December 26. Her career in television animation began with her first leading role as Paglira Respigh in the 2021 science-fiction sports series Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!. In this series, her character is described as a gifted all-rounder and medical practitioner representing Pluto in a solar system-wide athletic tournament.

That same year, she voiced another prominent character, Sutea Kōroya, in the television anime Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory. She also appeared in a supporting role as a student in the series Super Cub. Beyond these roles, Nanjō has built a substantial portfolio in video games, contributing voices to a wide range of titles including MEOW: King's Knights, Merry Garland, Yggdra Resonance, and Astral Tale. Her work also extends to dubbing foreign animations; she provided the Japanese voice for Istvan's wife in the 2020 film Marona's Fantastic Tale and voiced a character in Calamity, A Childhood of Martha Jane Cannary.

Nanjō was formerly affiliated with the talent agency Clair until February 2024, when she announced her departure to continue her career as a freelancer. In addition to her on-screen roles, she has participated in music projects related to her anime characters, such as performing a character song from Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!. She has also been active as a virtual personality, voicing the character Homura Yashiro on the IRIAM platform since 2020.
