Asaki Fukuyama

Description
Asaki Fukuyama is a Japanese voice actor, YouTuber, and model, born on May 30, 1995, in Kanagawa Prefecture. Her path to voice acting was not a direct one, beginning with a long-held aspiration from her high school years. She dedicated four years to training at a voice actor school while continuing her general education. However, upon graduation, she was initially unable to secure a position with a talent agency, a setback that temporarily diverted her career path.

Following this, Fukuyama worked as a freelance model and influencer, gaining experience in front of the camera and building an online presence. In 2017, she expanded her digital activities by launching a dedicated fan community and a YouTube channel focused on ASMR content, which helped her cultivate a dedicated following. Her career trajectory changed in 2019 when she successfully passed an audition for the mobile game Lost Archive. This opportunity led to her voice acting debut in 2020 and her signing with the voice actor agency Clair.

Fukuyama's first major role in a television anime came in 2021 when she was cast as Fley in the series Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory. This role placed her alongside other main cast members for the show. Interestingly, her involvement with the series extended beyond voice work, as she also became a member of the unit Megami Ryōsei, which performed the anime's opening theme song. In the same year, she voiced the lead character, Martha Jane, in the Japanese dub of the animated film Calamity and performed its theme song, showcasing her vocal range.

Throughout her career, Fukuyama has taken on roles in various other media, including video games such as AOD-龍神無雙- and绯石之心, as well as additional anime like锈色铠甲 -黎明-. Her work is not confined to voice acting; she has also appeared in fashion magazines like Ray and ar, and has modeled for commercial brands. A notable achievement in her online career was her YouTube channel surpassing 100,000 subscribers, earning it a Silver Play Button. In May 2024, she departed from her agency Clair to continue her activities as a freelance talent.
