Raúl Xiques is a Mexican voice actor recognized for his extensive work in Spanish-language dubbing for anime, animated series, and live-action films. He began his career in the 1970s, a period often referred to as the Golden Age of Mexican dubbing, and became a staple voice in the industry for several decades. His work is particularly prominent in classic anime series that were broadcast throughout Latin America. In the anime UFO Senshi Daiapolon, also known as UFO Warrior Daiapolon, he provided the voice for the character Takeshi. He is also widely known for his portrayal of several iconic villains and supporting characters. One of his most celebrated roles is that of Zarbon in the immensely popular Dragon Ball Z, where his performance as the vain and treacherous fighter is fondly remembered by fans. He also voiced the antagonist General Blue in the original Dragon Ball series. In Saint Seiya, he lent his voice to the character of Deathmask, the Gold Saint of Cancer. His repertoire includes the role of Ryo Saeba in the initial Mexican dubs of City Hunter, Megavolt in the Disney animated series Darkwing Duck, and Professor Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective.
