Guido Celano was an Italian actor and voice actor, born on April 19, 1904, and active in the entertainment industry from 1929 until his death in 1988. He is primarily known for his extensive career in film, where he appeared in over one hundred movies, often in supporting or character roles, and occasionally as a lead actor in his early career. His work in cinema also extended to directing two Spaghetti Westerns in the late 1960s. In addition to his on-screen performances, Celano was recognized for his work as a voice actor, contributing to the Italian dubbing of both live-action films and animated series.

Within the realm of anime and animated series for the Italian market, Guido Celano provided voices for several characters. He is credited with voicing Alvar di Flake in the anime series Vicke the Little Viking, taking over the role as the second voice for the character. His other anime voice roles include Ikima in Kotetsu Jeeg, for which he provided the first voice, Gatetsu in Machine Hayabusa, and Gida in Super Grand Prix. He was also the first voice of Hydargos in the series UFO Robo Grendizer for its initial episodes and voiced the character Nathan in the second season of Superbook. Beyond Japanese anime, his dubbing work also extended to other animated productions, such as being the fourth voice of Fred Flintstone in the Italian version of The Flintstones and voicing Luis in Sesamo apriti.
