Rin Kusumi is a Japanese voice actress from Gunma Prefecture, born on June 17. She is affiliated with the talent agency I'm Enterprise. Her path to voice acting began in 2016 when, as a second-year high school student, she won the grand prize at the 5th International Voice Actor Contest Seiyuu Damashii. Following this achievement, she trained at the Japan Narration Acting Institute before officially debuting in 2020.

Kusumi's early career consisted of minor roles in various anime series, with her first major breakthrough coming in 2022 when she was cast as Hiyori Minagi, her first leading role in a television anime, in the fishing-themed series Slow Loop. That same year, she also voiced the character Lauren Laraiya du Luvierte in Skeleton Knight in Another World.

In 2023, Kusumi landed another leading role as Kaoru in the fantasy comedy series I Shall Survive Using Potions!. Her performance as the resourceful and determined protagonist Kaoru marked a significant step in her career. Her casting in other series from the same year includes roles such as Emily Brown in My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 and You in The Apothecary Diaries.

Her career continues to build with roles announced for upcoming projects. She is set to voice Ganso (Originator) Hoppe-chan in the 2026 television anime HOPPECHAN -Mystery of the Sun Kingdom and the Black-Cheek Team- and Monme Hirai in the 2025 anime adaptation of Wandance.
