Kyoko Hamura is a Japanese voice actress who began her career in the early 1980s and has contributed to numerous anime television series, OVAs, and films. Born on April 5, 1960, in Saitama Prefecture, her entry into professional voice acting came in 1983 with roles in the magical girl series Mahou no Tenshi Creamy Mami and the science fiction series Ginga Hyōryū Vifam. Her portrayal of Maki Rowel in Ginga Hyōryū Vifam is considered a significant early main role.

Throughout the 1980s, Hamura took on a variety of supporting and main characters in prominent anime productions. She voiced Taiko Kasuga in the 1984 drama Glass Mask and appeared in the mecha series Chōjū Kishin Dancouga in 1985. Her work during this period also includes roles in influential titles such as the cyberpunk OVA Bubblegum Crisis, where she voiced Shou in 1987, and the action series City Hunter in the same year. In 1989, she voiced John Darling in the World Masterpiece Theater series The Adventures of Peter Pan. She has also been involved in the long-running children's franchise Sore Ike! Anpanman, providing the voice for Dodo's Mother since its inception in 1988.

Following a busy period in the 1980s, Hamura's documented voice roles became less frequent. She returned to voice acting in the mid-2000s with supporting and guest parts in several series. Her credits from this era include multiple minor roles in the psychological thriller Monster from 2004 to 2005, a role in Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time – A Tale of the Eight Guardians in 2005, and voicing an Old Woman in an episode of Claymore in 2007. These later credits represent her most recent documented contributions to anime. Hamura's career is marked by her work across a range of genres during a formative period for the anime industry, contributing to both classic series and influential OVAs.
