His academic background is extensive; he holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he is also a doctoral candidate. His formal training in dubbing began in 2014 under the tutelage of Olga Donna-Dío and José Luis Orozco.
