Saori Tsuchiya

Description
Saori Tsuchiya is a Japanese actress and former voice actor known for her work in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She was born on January 22, 1969, in Tokyo, Japan. She was born into a family of entertainers; her parents are actors Shinsuke Ehara and Hitomi Nakahara, and her older brother was actor Ayumu Tsuchiya. Tsuchiya began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, appearing in a commercial for Lion Toothpaste with her family. She made her formal debut as an actress in 1987. In 1988, she also worked as a campaign girl for Shiseido and released a single titled Boy through Sony Music, launching a brief career as a singer.

While Tsuchiya appeared in several television dramas and films, her most prominent voice acting role is in the anime series Blue Blink, which aired in 1989. In this fantasy adventure series, produced by Tezuka Productions and one of the final works of Osamu Tezuka, she provided the voice for the titular character, Blink, a magical blue horse. She voiced this role alongside notable voice actors such as Masako Nozawa. Her contribution to voice acting appears to be primarily defined by this single, significant role. Tsuchiya was active as an actress in television dramas during the early 1990s, with appearances in series like Pro Golfer Jiko and Ryukyu no Kaze. Following this period, she retired from the entertainment industry.
