Adriano Luz is a Portuguese actor and voice actor, widely recognized for his extensive work in dubbing for European Portuguese audiences. Born Adriano Manuel Vieira da Luz on April 9, 1959, in Porto, Portugal, his career spans both live-action film and television as well as animated projects. In addition to his performance work, he has also served as a dubbing director and is an accomplished stage director and artistic director.

Luz's voice acting portfolio includes a wide array of characters in animated films and series. He is notably the Portuguese voice of the character Banzai in the 1994 Disney film The Lion King, a role he later reprised in The Lion King 3 - Hakuna Matata. His other prominent film dubbing credits include voicing Lotso in Toy Story 3, the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, Kermit the Frog (known as Cocas in Portugal) in various Muppet productions and Rua Sésamo, and providing additional voices in films such as Rango.

Within the realm of animation and anime series, Luz has contributed his voice to several notable titles. He voiced characters in the European Portuguese dub of the Sonic Underground television series, taking on roles such as Dr. Robotnik, Manic, and Dingo.
