Ayami Tsukui is a Japanese voice actress from Kanagawa Prefecture, born on April 4. Her interest in voice acting began during high school, inspired by friends who were anime fans and her admiration for performers capable of both singing and acting. She pursued this passion by enrolling at the Amusement Media Academy in Tokyo. Tsukui made her debut in anime in 2013 with a role in the series Pic Lele.

Her career includes a range of roles in both anime and video games. In anime, she is known for voicing Tama in Tama & Friends: Uchi no Tama Shirimasen ka?, Pigi-maru in Hazurewaku no Joutai Ijou Skill de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin Suru Made, and Princess Anemone in Neko no Dayan. She also played the character Kenta in the 2017 short television anime series Buppu na Mainichi, a role for which she also performed a cover of the singer Noriyuki Makihara's song No. 1 as the series' ending theme alongside her co-stars. Other anime credits include Chobitto-Zukan and Tesla Note. In the realm of video games, her work includes roles in Shingun Destroy!, Black Knight and White Demon King, Destiny Child, and Hop Step Jumper.

Throughout her career, Tsukui has been affiliated with different talent agencies. She was initially with Spellbound and became a founding member of the voice actress idol unit Seiyu Renmei Utau-tai in 2015. In May 2020, following a business transition at Spellbound, she moved to her current agency, HS Promotion. Beyond voice acting, she has contributed to drama CDs, appeared in stage performances, and participated in radio programs, further showcasing her versatility as a performer.
