Hendrina Adriana Maria van den Akker, known professionally as Ryan van den Akker, is a Dutch singer and voice actor born on August 12, 1960, in Beek en Donk, Netherlands. She is best known for providing the Dutch voice for the title character in the anime series Alfred J. Kwak, known in Japan as Ahiru no Quack. This series, which originally aired from 1989 to 1990, follows the life of a young duck named Alfred Jodocus Kwak and was a co-production between Dutch and Japanese studios. In addition to voicing the main character, van den Akker also performed the Dutch ending theme song for the series, Ik ben vandaag zo vrolijk, as a duet with Herman van Veen, the creator of the original stage show on which the anime was based. Her work on Alfred J. Kwak led to a recurring collaboration with van Veen, who also voiced several characters in the series.

Beyond her voice role in anime, Ryan van den Akker has had an extensive career as a theater actress and musical performer. Her stage credits span numerous musical productions, including playing Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady from 1994 to 1996 and the title role in Elisabeth from 1999 to 2001. She also appeared in Dutch television series such as Bureau Kruislaan, We zijn weer thuis, and the film Mijn vader woont in Rio. In 1998, she participated in the Dutch national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, performing the song Over as a duet and finishing in fifth place. Her career also includes a stint as a contestant on the television show The Voice of Holland in 2012.
